i love nature shots....

i took these in the yard on sunday...i happened to see this grasshopper on our rudbekia (?) and he let me just snap away. i never realized how intricate they were. click on the pictures to make them bigger.

this bee just went about his business and totally ignored me. i would love to get a macro lens to get even closer up.
 
this is the center of a clematis flower that has lost it's petals. i thought this flower stump was so unique. it is amazing what you can see close up in nature that you just take for granted.

i go into surgery tomorrow morning and i am a little nervous tonight. i know everything will go well, i just hope i can sleep tonight. i have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am surgery. keep me in your prayers.
